A specialist recruitment agency is seeking an experienced General Builder in the Vale of White Horse area. This full-time position involves general building repairs and maintenance, including roofing, drainage work, and repairs. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications or trade experience and hold a valid driving license. Strong health and safety knowledge is essential for this role.
Competenze
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a building trade or proven experience.
- Experience in occupied and empty premises with good customer service skills.
- Strong health and safety mindset.

- Digging underground drainage and repairing collapsed pipework.
- Roofing and assessing roof integrity.
- Re-pointing, tiling, and cement works.
- All types of fencing and flooring.
- Repairing brickwork and blockwork.

Formazione
We\'re currently recruiting for an experienced General Builder to join our Clients Maintenance Team in our Berkshire area. As a Builder you\'ll carry out all forms of general building repairs and maintenance as part of our Responsive Repairs Team.
- Digging underground drainage, repairing collapsed pipework and installing soakaways.
- Roofing and roof repairs, roof problem solving, assessing roof integrity and guttering repairs.
- Re-pointing, minor rendering, tiling and cement works.
- All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
- Laying self-levelling compound, flooring and floor tiles.
- Repairing brickwork and blockwork.
- Ideally, a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a Building trade OR proven experience in the trade.
- Experience of working in both occupied and empty premises with good customer service skills.
- Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- This is a full-time role.
- Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving license with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
- This role is subject to a satisfactory license check, essential qualifications check and a basic DBS disclosure.
