A UK leading building services company based in Plymouth is seeking a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer to perform Planned Maintenance and Reactive Repairs for Cornwall Council's commercial estate. The position offers a salary range of £36k - £38k per annum, with benefits including a van for private use, overtime opportunities, and career development training. Qualified candidates should have relevant trade qualifications and experience in the building maintenance industry, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer on behalf of one of the UK's leading building services companies. Established over 40 years, their head office is based in London, and they also have several over offices across the nation. They are known for their services in M&E, FM, Design and Construction. They are a well‑known company with hundreds of employees working for them. They work in a range of sectors including commercial, residential, health and transport.
As the Mobile Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible to carry out Fire, Security, CCTV Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works with additional capability to assist with M&E repairs and support with minor Fire, Security and CCTV projects to a high level standard. This will be working on Cornwall Council's commercial estate of around 300 properties.
This is a permanent position and we are looking for candidates based in Cornwall or Plymouth. It is working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week and is paying £36k - £38k per annum. Perks include van which can be used for private use, overtime, pension, sick pay, career development training etc. The holiday allowance is 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This increases to 25 after 2 years.
