Job summary
A local dining restaurant in London is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead and train their team, ensuring excellent service and high-quality drinks. Ideal candidates should have experience in the bar industry, strong knowledge of coffee and cocktails, and excellent communication skills. This full-time role offers a starting hourly rate of £15.2, with the opportunity for an immediate start.
Qualifications
- Experience as a bar supervisor or senior bartender required.
- Solid knowledge of coffee and cocktails essential.
- Good communication and leadership skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train a team of 5 bartenders/baristas.
- Oversee espresso drinks and specialty coffee quality.
- Mix and serve cocktails and seasonal specials.
- Handle bar setup, stock checks, and organization.
- Ensure guests receive friendly and fast service.
Skills
We’re looking for a hands-on Bar Supervisor to lead our team. If you love great coffee, enjoy mixing cocktails, and like working with people, this could be the perfect role for you.
- Lead & Train the Team – Guide and support a team of 5 bartenders/baristas, ensuring everyone is confident, well-trained, and delivering great service.
- Coffee Know-How – Oversee espresso drinks and specialty coffee, keeping quality and presentation on point.
- Cocktails & Drinks – Mix and serve classic and signature cocktails, help create seasonal specials, and ensure recipes stay consistent.
- Daily Operations – Handle bar setup, stock checks, ordering, and keeping the bar clean and organized.
- Great Guest Experience – Jump behind the bar when needed and ensure every guest receives friendly, fast service.
- Experience as a bar supervisor, senior bartender, or team lead in a restaurant or busy bar.
- Solid knowledge of coffee and cocktails.
- A people person with good communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy restaurant during peak service times.
- Able to work 5 days a week, including weekends.
