Job summary
A well-established precision engineering company is seeking a CNC Grinder in Leicestershire. Responsibilities include using gauges to ensure parts meet specifications and maintaining accurate records. Preferred candidates have experience with RSS and Okuma machinery and a background in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and various benefits including a bonus scheme and pension plan.

Responsibilities
- Use gauges and micrometers to ensure parts conform to drawings.
- Prove out programs to ensure timings meet standards.
- Maintain accurate computer files and manual paperwork.
Skills
Job Title: CNC Grinder
Location: Leicestershire
Hourly Rate: £16.80 per hour
Shift: 6am to 2.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 6am to 11.30am (Friday)

- Self-certify personal work
- Prove out programs to ensure timings meet manufacturing and quality standards
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date
- Produce SPC charts and records
- Maintain housekeeping to the highest standards
- Ensure all quality procedures are followed, taking an active role in root cause analysis
- Experience operating RSS and Okuma machinery preferred, or external grinding experience
- Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
- Experience setting grinding machines
