Commercial Finance Manager | PE Backed Business | Hybrid (3 days in office) | South MCR | £65,000

Axon Moore is delighted to be working alongside a long‑term client looking to bring a Commercial Finance Manager into the business. The role will be responsible for the sales division, and therefore, we are looking for someone who is experienced working with stakeholders who operate in a fast‑paced, demanding environment with high expectations.

The position reports to a strong Head of Commercial Finance who has progressed through the company, has a deep‑rooted knowledge of the business, and knows what it takes to be successful. They are eager to provide someone with the mentorship to allow them to progress in their own career.

• Utilisation reporting across various service streams to support leadership with workforce planning and efficiency initiatives.
• Through data analytics, identify gaps and trends, flagging areas for operational improvement.
• Deep dive into quality metrics, providing integral insight into business performance.
• Work alongside key stakeholders within the business to share financial insight into operational matters such as staffing and resource planning.
• Own the budgeting for the Sales business unit.
• Support month‑end reporting and ongoing performance reviews.
• Work with the Data Team to drive automation in reporting.
• Own the reporting of customer churn, covering both mid‑contract drop‑off and end‑of‑contract non‑renewal.
• Analyse trends and provide insights into root causes, including business performance, pricing, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and delivery teams to interpret data and shape future operational strategies.
• Work with the Data Team to drive automation in reporting.

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
• Experience working in a commercial environment with clear achievements in contributing to your business.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience using Power Query/ BI would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing business is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
