Job Description:
v Sketch out engaging lessonsin line with theKS3 and KS4 Art & Design curriculum
v Encouragecreative risk-taking,independent thinking, andpersonal expressionthrough a variety of media and techniques
v Create acanvas of inclusionwhere every student feels inspired and valued
v Use a range offormative and summative assessmentsto monitor progress and inform planning
v Buildpositive relationshipswith students, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and personal development
v Contribute to the wider school community throughart exhibitions,cross-curricular projects, andenrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
v Have experience teaching Art at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
v Be areflective and adaptable practitionerwith strong classroom management anddifferentiationskills
v Demonstrate a commitment toinclusive education,safeguarding, andstudent wellbeing
v Possessexcellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
v Be enthusiastic aboutcontinuous professional development,team collaboration, andartistic innovation
