Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Provide engaging and innovative teaching strategies that inspire creativity in students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
  • Manage and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Maintain and update student records in line with school policies.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure all teaching materials and resources are appropriate and available for effective lesson delivery.
Requirements:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Art, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Art at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).
