Job Summary

Art Teacher - Durham - January 2026 to July 2026 (Potential to Extend)

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Stockton on Tees from January 2026 through to July 2026, with the potential for the role to continue beyond this.

This is a full-time position teaching Art across KS3 and KS4. The school has a strong focus on creativity and expression, and the Art department is well-equipped with everything you need to inspire students and bring their ideas to life.

Role Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical art lessons
  • Supporting GCSE students with coursework and creative development
  • Contributing to whole-school arts projects and exhibitions
  • Being part of a welcoming and collaborative team
What We're Looking For
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in teaching Art
  • Someone who can create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • A teacher who can inspire confidence and creativity in young people
