A regional law firm is seeking a motivated Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4-6 years PQE to join their team in Guildford. Reporting to a senior lawyer, you will act as a trusted advisor to individuals and families across a broad range of family matters. With 4–6 PQE, you will deliver clear, compassionate and practical advice while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.
- Managing your own caseload across divorce, separation, cohabitation, financial settlements, children matters and related issues
- Meeting clients, providing clear guidance and maintaining excellent client care
- Drafting court documents, agreements and associated family law documentation
- Representing clients at hearings, directions appointments and mediations
- Assisting senior lawyers on complex or high-value cases
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Supporting marketing, networking and wider business‑development activity
- 4–6 years PQE in Family law (or equivalent experience) with practising rights
- Strong experience across divorce, financial remedy and children matters
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently
- Compassionate, calm and professional approach to sensitive matters
- Strong team ethos and a proactive, commercial mindset
