Overview

This is a position for a professional and knowledgeable infant nanny who can be flexible around the family's needs and who brings a calm and confident approach.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of infant care, to include general nursery duties, ensuring nap and feeding schedules are adhered to.
• Preparing purees and baby food, supporting the eventual weaning process.
• Continuing with encouraging healthy sleeping patterns (you will not be responsible for overnights, as the family currently has a night-nurse and will continue to do so until the baby is consistently sleeping through the night).
• Creating an engaging and stimulating environment that promotes healthy development.
• Keeping the nursery tidy and organised, and keeping on top of the baby’s laundry and ironing.
• Planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings.
• Being aware of developmental and behavioural milestones, actively working with the whole family to ensure his social, emotional, and physical well-being is a priority.
• Bringing a positive, flexible, and cheerful demeanour to the home.
• Providing some assistant-style duties for the parents.
• Vacation travel with the family when required.
• Excellent communicator and a professional demeanour.
• Skilled at reading the room and integrating seamlessly into a household.

• Hands-on and resourceful but able to recognise when to give the family space and privacy.

Overview / Schedule & Location
