A recruitment agency is looking for a skilled YJS Case Manager in Sutton, UK, to deliver high-quality support for children involved in the youth justice system. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled YJS Case Manager to deliver high-quality support to children and young people involved in the youth justice system. The post calls for a confident practitioner with sound professional judgement, able to manage statutory cases and produce clear, analytical assessments and reports to the highest standard.
Manage a varied caseload, including court orders, out-of-court disposals and diversion programmes.
Produce timely, well-evidenced assessments and written reports.
Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies and professionals to address risk and promote positive change.
Chair and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as required.
Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure all practice meets statutory and local expectations.
Degree-level qualification in social work, youth justice, criminal justice, probation or a related field.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy and evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
Confident in working autonomously and balancing competing demands.
Competent in electronic case management systems and committed to continuous professional development.
