Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a skilled YJS Case Manager in Sutton, UK, to deliver high-quality support for children involved in the youth justice system. The post calls for a confident practitioner with sound professional judgement, able to manage statutory cases and produce clear, analytical assessments and reports to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload, including court orders, out-of-court disposals and diversion programmes.

  • Produce timely, well-evidenced assessments and written reports.

  • Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies and professionals to address risk and promote positive change.

  • Chair and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as required.

  • Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure all practice meets statutory and local expectations.

About You
  • Degree-level qualification in social work, youth justice, criminal justice, probation or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy and evidence-based practice.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.

  • Confident in working autonomously and balancing competing demands.

  • Competent in electronic case management systems and committed to continuous professional development.
