Job summary

A pioneering charity supporting youth in London is seeking a passionate Careers Specialist to empower care-experienced young people facing employment barriers. In this hybrid role, you will provide tailored guidance, facilitate workshops, and foster relationships, enabling young people to achieve meaningful career paths. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of supporting disadvantaged individuals, effective communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing employability. This full-time position offers a salary between £32,000 and £34,500 per annum, with benefits including annual leave and pension contributions.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience supporting disadvantaged young people into employment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IAG to support young people in achieving career goals.
  • Identify and create employment and training opportunities.
  • Deliver workshops and outreach activities across London.
