Role: Year 5 Teacher

Start Date: October 2025

Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)

Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role

Year 5 is an important stage where pupils build the knowledge and confidence they\'ll carry into their final year of primary school. Heart of Supply are seeking teachers who already have experience in Year 5, as well as those who are eager to gain it. Supply teaching offers the freedom to choose the type of work that suits you, while developing your skills in upper Key Stage 2. Our partner schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers to inspire and support their pupils at this stage.

What you will need
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or ECT status
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5, or a strong interest in gaining experience in this year group
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons that meet pupils\' needs
  • Strong classroom management with a supportive and encouraging approach
  • Flexibility to adapt your teaching to different school settings and learning styles
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
