Axcis are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London who are seeking a committed and confident Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, starting after half term. The school has a strong focus on early learning, phonics and inclusion, and is looking for a teacher who can provide consistency and high-quality teaching for the remainder of the academic year and beyond. This is a full class teacher role, teaching up to 30 pupils, supported by two to three Teaching Assistants within the classroom. The class includes children with autism and additional SEND, including some pupils who are non‑verbal or working at a lower developmental level, so experience with inclusive practice is essential.
