A recruitment agency is seeking a Yard Operative for a recycling centre in Motherwell, Scotland. Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of platforms, towers, floors, etc.
• Receive training on specialist machinery if required.

£12.28 per hour

Job Description

Our client based in Newhouse are currently looking to recruit a Yard Operative. Although this role is initially on a temporary ongoing basis it may become permanent for the right candidate after successful completion of a qualifying period.

This is within a recycling centre so previous experience within this environment is advantageous but not essential.

Duties will include general cleaning of the site, ie brushing, shovelling and cleaning platforms, towers, floors etc. The client will provide any additional training required on specialist machinery, if required.

Hours

Mon to Fri - 07:00 to 16:00 (with the option of overtime, i.e can work 06:00 to 18:00).

Location and Transport

Due to the hours and location of the position, candidates must live locally or have their own transport.
