Yard Operative in Herringswell!

As a Yard Operative, you will work in one of our branches as part of a team dedicated to excellent customer service and efficient operations. You will report to the Yard Supervisor and the Branch Management Team.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving and checking deliveries, noting anomalies, and ensuring secure, correct storage in line with health and safety guidelines.
  2. Serving customers promptly and efficiently.
  3. Maintaining a tidy yard, ensuring stock is identifiable, and highlighting low stock levels to management.
  4. Using a forklift to assist with picking and loading vehicles.
  5. Safeguarding against theft by maintaining security awareness.
  6. Working collaboratively to ensure efficient branch operations within company policies.

We value individuality and provide training and tools for success. A forklift license is advantageous.
