Job description

An excellent permanent opportunity has arisen for someone with electrical testing experience to work within a luxury yacht commissioning team based in Ipswich. Worldwide travel required a few times a year.

Employed as part of a small, dedicated team, the successful candidate will be a self-starting problem solver who will thrive fault-finding, testing and rectifying final 'snagging' issues prior to customer delivery. Warranty work also undertaken.

Applicants must have an electrical qualification with testing experience, high attention to detail and a perfectionist nature. Previous marine experience is not essential but being quality driven and having the ability to work in a tidy, methodical manner are important. Good customer service skills are also required along with the need to drive the job to completion to meet deadlines.

Hours of work are 8.00am - 4.30pm with considerable overtime available.

Comprehensive benefits package including 4% employer pension contributions and 24 days holiday plus BH.

Starting salary c£33K with opportunity to earn £40 - £45K+ with overtime.
