Year 2 Class Teacher – Full Time (Fixed Term Cover)

Location: Preston

Start Date: February 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming mainstream, one-form-entry primary school in Preston. This is a full‑time position to cover a planned absence, starting from January 2026.

Our school provides a well‑resourced, nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are supported to achieve their very best. We are proud of our caring ethos, high standards, and strong sense of community.

The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally with a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning that supports every child to thrive.
  • Be an effective communicator and team player, with a positive and reflective approach to their practice.
