Overview

The governors wish to appoint an experienced and innovative teacher with excellent teaching skills. This position will be in KS1.


Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher who:



  • Is an excellent, innovative classroom practitioner with a positive attitude

  • Can provide challenging, high quality and creative learning opportunities for all children

  • Has the skills and flexibility to meet the needs of all children in the class

  • Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and the importance of play in children’s learning

  • Has a secure understanding of the teaching of phonics and early reading

  • Can use accurate assessments to secure progress

  • Is enthusiastic and highly-motivated

  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff

  • Has the sense of humour, character and personality to engage with our pupils, staff and community
