Workshop Technician - PERMANENT POSITION

Location: Norwich

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a skilled Workshop Technician to join the team of one of our longstanding clients. The role will involve repairing vehicle and trailer defects, carrying out services on our fleet of trailers and other commercial vehicles. As a Workshop Technician, you'll ensure the company fleet is effectively serviced and repaired in a cost-effective and timely manner, while meeting all company and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on vehicles and trailers in line with required standards
  • Preparing trailers for MOT inspections and ensuring they meet compliance requirements
  • Identifying and diagnosing faults on vehicles and trailers using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
What We\'re Looking For
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in HGV/LGV and trailer maintenance and repair
  • Proficient in the use of transport repair tools and relevant diagnostic software
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, troubleshoot effectively, and make informed decisions
