P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a Workshop Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:
This company is looking for a hands-on Workshop Technician to join their bust and growing team. This role will be ideal for someone with 5+ years’ experience in a workshop or a similar environment and who is confident handling tools and equipment and is ready to take control of their workshop.

Main Responsibilities:
• Receiving, inspection and storage of equipment and tools.
• Carry out preparation, maintenance and testing of tools and machinery for offshore deployment.
• Perform repairs and ensure equipment is ready and compliant for hire or sale.
• Coordinate and support order packing, picking and dispatch processes in the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and quality control.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety standards and equipment upkeep.
• Load and deliver equipment to local clients using company vehicles.
• Work closely with the workshop trainee, warehouse supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Person Specification:
• Practical knowledge of handling and maintaining industrial tools or equipment.
• Computer literate.
• Experience in a workshop, or similar industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication skills and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Forklift License. (Desirable)

Working Hours:
• Monday – Friday 07:45 – 16:30 (45-minute lunch break)
