WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR

OTE £49,000

Job Details

• Basic Salary: £46,800
• Working Hours: Week 1 Monday-Friday - 6am - 2.30pm
• Week 2 Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 11pm
• Saturday (1 in 4) 7am - 12pm (at time and a half)
• Location: Bedford

Role

For the role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment, with prior supervisory experience. You will be responsible for looking after two other technicians and making the decisions to enable the running of a smooth shift consistently.

Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor

• Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
• Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
• Organize team workloads and communicate with shift
• Health and safety of shift members
• Good housekeeping and H&S requirements
• All work is carried out in a time scale acceptable to the customer
• Ensure all paperwork is completed
• To ensure all paperwork and general workshop duties are completed

Skills and Qualifications

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
• HGV licence is essential
• Prior supervisory experience
