Classic Car Workshop Manager

Location: Hampshire area.


Salary: £55,000.


Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-2.30pm.

Duties

  • Managing a team of skilled mechanics, engine builders, and apprentices
  • Planning and overseeing daily workshop activities and projects
  • Monitoring progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery
  • Delegating work effectively and supporting staff with technical issues

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive workshop management, ideally with a focus on classic or historic cars
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of multitasking and prioritising
  • Good technical knowledge of mechanics and restoration processes
  • Effective communication skills for client relations and team coordination
  • Experience with managing workflows
  • An interest or background in classic cars, restoration, or automotive heritage is desirable
