A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Workforce Systems Lead. You will be responsible for managing and optimising workforce information systems (ESR and OLM) and ensuring alignment with digital strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR within the NHS, a degree or equivalent, and proficiency in workforce systems. This full-time role offers flexible and remote working options, with a focus on leading teams, optimizing data quality, and supporting HR projects.

You'll drive system optimisation, influence stakeholders, develop manager capability, and ensure high-quality workforce data and reporting. This role also involves managing a small team, supporting HR&OD projects, and leading the implementation of future workforce solutions.

What you will be doing
Lead and optimise workforce systems (ESR/OLM), ensuring integration with NHSR’s digital strategy, developing and delivering atomisation and optimisation plans
Leading the delivery of accurate and timely workforce reporting for the organisation. Turing complex data into meaningful insight that supports continuous improvement
Responsible for improving data quality within ESR, carrying out audits, data cleansing and reconciliation work. Working collaboratively with other departments to maintain the accuracy of organisational hierarchies and workforce structures.
Influence and support internal stakeholders to prepare for system advancements
Manage a team to deliver accurate workforce data and reports
Advise on system functionality, configuration, and optimisation
Develop and deliver training, workshops, and support materials for staff
What you will bring
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, ideally with background in analytics or CIPD qualified
Experience in a HR role in the NHS using ESR/OLM, with a track record in management reporting
Proficient in use of ESR/OLM system, the reporting functions and employee/manager self-service functionalities
Evidence of successfully using qualitative and quantitative data to create compelling arguments with influencing ability, distilling complex data and analysis into simple ideas.
Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade colleagues at all levels on complex and sensitive matters
Previous experience of managing a team
Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ESR/OLM systems
Experience in designing and delivering training and workshops
