About role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Tewkesbury and surrounding areas

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining UPVC windows and composite doors across our housing portfolio in Gloucestershire. Working in customers' homes, you'll deliver high-quality work, diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and ensure every installation meets Bromford's safety and quality standards.

You'll play a key role in improving the comfort and security of our customers' homes, working independently while being fully supported by a trusted and friendly trades team.

What We’re Looking For
  • A confident all-round tradesperson with proven experience installing UPVC windows and composite doors
  • Ideally holds an MTC Installers Card (desirable, not essential)
  • Brings additional skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling or basic plumbing (desirable)
  • Has the flexibility to manage varied workloads and diagnose installation issues effectively
  • Can confidently use a PDA, digital tablet or mobile device
  • Provides excellent customer service and communicates clearly with customers and colleagues
  • Works comfortably within a social housing environment
  • Is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and able to deliver high-quality work without close supervision
Additional Requirements
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check (required due to the nature of the role)

  • Salary: £34,612.80 per year, with an annual salary review
