Overview

Wholesale Executive

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Wholesale Executive to help with our rapidly growing wholesale department. We have 200+ luxury points of sale worldwide across department stores, boutiques and resorts, expanding every week. As our business grows globally there is high potential for progression. Reporting into the Wholesale Director, you will support the wholesale department with all the operational workings to ensure smooth running. The Responsibilities
  • Entering orders: creating and amending sales orders, tracking clients’ delivery windows, ensuring all POs are confirmed in advance of shipment windows.

  • Shipping: communicate with the warehouse team on upcoming deliveries, investigate and resolve trouble shipments with a sense of urgency, action returns, following up with client logistics.

  • Teamwork: Ensure that all key stakeholders are kept up to date on deliveries and special orders. Manage up for superiors to support where necessary. Work collaboratively with other teams across the business, adopting a forward thinking problem solving mindset.

  • End-to-end sales process: issue invoices and help investigate and resolve any queries in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring presence at our clients: checking all products have gone live/launched in store, descriptions are correct and product shots are reflective of brand guidelines.

  • Account Management: Build and foster long term relationships with buyers and partners on an international stage.

  • Prospecting: Research and monitor the markets to discover new retailers and potential partners.

  • Enable trading: check stock levels for key account replenishment orders (including organising transfers from other channels of the business), requesting clients for Sell Through reports, identify opportunities and communicate to Wholesale Managers.

  • In store training with Key Accounts to inform store staff about USP/selling points of the products and help set in place our visual mechanise standards.

  • Managing showroom and sample process: ensuring the showroom is immaculate and client-ready at all times, working closely with production to ensure samples arrive in time for sell-in appointments, owning the global sample process for sales campaigns and trade shows (London/Paris/New York/Miami/Dubai), understand client sample needs and proactively identify when they need to be shipped.

  • Support in preparation and follow up from sales appointments: supporting the team with preparation, scheduling seasonal buying appointments with new and current retail partners and after appointment follow ups internally and externally.

  • Execution of pop ups: organizing props, working with clients on requirements and measurements of the space, image requirements and vinyl install organisation.

  • Set up of new clients: completing client forms, setting clients up on NetSuite, providing our company information and ensuring the warehouse team have the client’s delivery manual. Keeping Netsuite information up to date.

The person
  • BA (Hons). Fashion related preferred, but not required.

  • Fluency in English is essential, other languages are a bonus.

  • Strong Excel, numeracy and analytical skills as well as GSCE qualification (or equivalent) in Maths & English.

  • At least one year’s experience in a similar fashion/retail based role.

  • Uses initiative and has a positive attitude – can identify problems and finds a way to resolve quickly.

  • Keen attention to detail – methodical and understands the importance of meeting deadlines with the ability to self-correct and learn quickly from any mistakes.

  • Personable with strong relationship building skills.

  • Hold themselves and others to a high standard.
