A traditional pub in Wimborne seeks an experienced operator to manage daily operations, boost sales, and create an appealing food menu. This role offers a 20% share of weekly wet sales and 100% of food sales, with accommodation included. The ideal candidate will have experience running a local pub and know how to market effectively to draw in new customers.
The White Hart is located in the heart of Wimborne with a large garden and outdoor space. The pub benefits from two bars, one with darts & pool table and then a dining site with approximately 50 covers.
It also benefits from a full catering kitchen provided on site as well as an outside bar as the pub benefits from the annual Folk Festival in the summer (generates circa 30000 across that weekend of which the operator would benefit 100% of the food sales from).
The pub attracts locals pub and would benefit from a good pub food menu, consistent weekly activity and someone that enjoys looking after a large garden and outdoor space. With the introduction of an experienced operator, used to running a locals pub in an affluent town, there's potential to push the wet sales to 6-7k per week if realistically priced with additional food sales if a simple pub food menu were to be introduced. A weekly rhythm of the week with Pool, Darts, Quiz, Bingo etc would all also help support additional growth.
We are ideally looking for operators that are used to the quirks of listed pubs and know how to actively market the White Hart to drive in new customers.
The pub is turning over approximately 5000 per week on a 80/20 wet lead split. There is potential to increase sales if the business is driven and grown in the right way with the right operators.
