Overview

We are pleased to offer a wheelchair services support volunteer opportunity with the Doncaster physical health and neurodiversity service at RDaSH.

Role and responsibilities

• The Wheelchair stockroom stocks wheelchairs and parts for clients assessed as needing a wheelchair. The role involves stock management and orders, receiving items, checking and putting away stock, and chasing up orders to confirm delivery dates.
• Working with services in providing a wheelchair support service.

Commitment and teamwork

• Minimum commitment of 2 hours (1 session per week).
• Working with wheelchair technicians, wheelchair therapists and administrative staff.
