Job Description

We're seeking friendly individuals to help lead or support activities in our Wellbeing and Support Hub

We offer a range of uplifting daytime activities for people staying in our Hospices, as well as their families and carers, and it's our amazing volunteers who make it all possible. Whether it's lending a hand in the garden, joining a gentle movement workshop, or encouraging creativity through arts and crafts, you'll be helping others find comfort, joy, and connection.

Volunteer opportunity: Every Thursday 10:30am - 1:00pm

What you will be doing:

  • Provide a warm welcome to everyone
  • Make drinks and serve lunch when required
  • Assist the Activity Facilitator in preparing and taking Activity Groups
  • Encourage patients to join in with activities
  • Keep the day room tidy
  • Help with other related tasks when necessary
