A community healthcare provider in Bournemouth is looking for qualified Wellbeing Practitioners to join their team focused on delivering cognitive behavioural interventions for children and young people. The successful candidates will engage in online and face-to-face delivery, working to improve mental health outcomes for families in the Dorset area. This full-time role offers professional growth in a supportive environment with excellent supervision and opportunities for skill development.

Dorset Healthcare University Foundation Trust has an opportunity for the right candidates to join our CAMHS Gateway team. The role is specific and involves offering Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural interventions for Children and Young People.
All applicants will need to be qualified as Wellbeing Practitioners (WP CYP IAPT) – to enable delivery of treatment to children, young people and their families. Please only apply for this post if you have this qualification.
We currently have two full time vacancies in CAMHS Gateway, working will be a mix of online and face to face delivery. Full or part time hours would be considered.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a developing service with high expectations for improving the outcomes for children and families in Dorset. CAMHS Gateway is a new Assessment and Brief Intervention Service operating across Dorset, the primary focus on providing high quality clinical assessment of young people and families, as well as delivering brief, needs led, evidence based clinical interventions.
Our Band 5 Wellbeing Practitioners receive line management, caseload management and clinical skills supervision as part of their role, deliver groups, work with families and we are always developing new ideas to engage with as many young people as we can.
You will have the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven service with an aptitude for working with young people and families and a passion for the key principles and values of CYP IAPT. In return you will receive supervision and in line with the values and principles of CYP IAPT and you will be offered opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and be involved in wider CAMHS local Transformation plans.
