Mechanical Engineer / Welder Pipe Fitter's

Contract Duration

Minimum 4 weeks (with potential for extension)

Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (half-hour lunch break)
  • Friday : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
  • Saturday : 7 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM
Overview

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers / Welder Pipe Fitters to support a project in Norfolk. The contract will last a minimum of 4 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for mechanical operations.
  • Perform welding and fabrication work on piping structures.
  • Ensure all work is in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete the project within the set timelines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to execute tasks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Welder Pipe Fitter and must have TIG welding ticket.
  • Competence in welding, cutting, and fitting pipes.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices.
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, mechanical operations, and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
  • Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering, welding, or pipe fitting.
  • Experience working on large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
Pay
  • Competitive hourly rates; up to £16.00 per hour (to be discussed based on experience)
