Our client in Blidworth is a well‑established and highly regarded specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of structural and secondary steelwork solutions, serving a diverse range of projects and customers. They are now looking to welcome an experienced Fabricator / Welder to their expanding team.

Working Hours & Benefits
  • Great working hours – Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
  • Free on‑site parking

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble architectural steel structures and components to precise specifications.
  • Use a range of hand and power tools to cut, shape, weld and finish materials.
  • Carry out thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and fabrication details accurately.
  • Maintain a tidy, well‑organised workspace and ensure tools are stored and cared for correctly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance workflow and support production efficiency.
  • Undertake site‑based work when required.
About You – Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in welding, including strong skills in MIG / TIG processes.
  • Solid mechanical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Confident using maths for accurate measurements and fabrication calculations.
  • Proficient with common fabrication hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑ work.
  • Level 2 or above welding qualifications.
