Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fabricate assemblies from engineering drawings using jigs and fixtures.
• Carry out production welding and inspect own work to meet standards.

Role: A great permanent job opportunity for a production welder / fabricator with some MIG welding and fabrication experience who wants to continue to develop your skills in a growing and successful manufacturing business.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings and use jigs and fixtures to fabricate a range of assemblies, as well as carrying out production welding.
• Inspect own work to ensure all appropriate standards are met; work to company health and safety standards at all times; contribute to the production environment in other ways when required.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experience of MIG or similar welding techniques (1 year+) working on products requiring a good level of dimensional accuracy.
• Keen to develop skills further and achieve coding as required.
• Reliable, consistent and self-motivated, keen to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work with efficiency and accuracy following engineering drawings and work instructions.
