Overview

Compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants needed for a care home in Nottingham that provides nursing and residential care for people experiencing neurological illnesses, brain injuries or mental health illnesses. The home cares for residents aged 18-65, and as a Support Worker you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service. You will help residents with personal care and morning activities, encouraging service users to remain as independent as possible. The role includes completing relevant paperwork, following personalised care plans and reporting any issues encountered. This is an ongoing opportunity with a competitive rate of pay.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Have a checkable work history.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control). If certificates are not up to date, online training can be provided for an added fee.
  • In-date enhanced DBS check. If DBS has expired, assistance can be offered to arrange a new one.

  • Typical day begins at 07:00 and finishes at 14:00, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Hourly rate of £12.35 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
