Right now, we’re seeking motivated and skilled Web Developers, to undertake a vital part in the development of a new business-critical system. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of our new CRM platform, within a vibrant and forward-thinking finance organisation.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the designing, building, and deployment of robust, scalable software across backend and related technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a dynamic new system that meet evolving business needs.
Working closely with the Developer Leads, you'll support high quality software development, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring best practices are upheld across the development lifecycle. You’ll assist in upholding optimal code quality through clean coding standards, design patterns, code reviews, and the implementation of automated testing, helping us maintain a reliable and maintainable code base.
You will take an active role in supporting project planning, task estimation, and progress tracking, ensuring delivery remains aligned with project goals. You’ll also tackle complex technical challenges, analysing and resolving issues effectively and efficiently. Clear, thorough documentation of designs, processes, and APIs will be an essential part of your contribution, ensuring clarity and consistency across the system.
Our technical environment spans a range of modern and established technologies, including .NET 8, C#, MVC, Web Services, Function Apps, and Azure. On the data side, we use SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure Storage, and Message queues.
We’re looking for breakout software engineers holding at least 2 years experience, with a strong foundation in modern software development & practices, including good workable knowledge of Agile development methodologies and hands‑on experience with unit testing and mocking. You’ll have strong technical expertise in C#, .NET, MVC and Azure Functions/App Services, as well as sound knowledge of secure coding principles. You’ll be a strong analytical thinker with good judgement and the ability to make sound decisions, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
