Qualifications
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Water industry and are familiar with the AMP cycles and constructing winning framework bids.
  • You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with industry standard CRM tools to assist in driving your team to achieve in the water utilities and industrial water sectors.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of flow and/or analytical products applicable to the water industry.
  • You are passionate about driving a motivated and successful team forward to attain expected results in a growing market.
  • Degree in an applicable engineering or analytical subject applicable to the role.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
  • You hold current driving licence valid in the UK.

This Position reports to: Local Division Sales Manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments (Water). Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market‑based strategy including direct, third‑party, and project sales and enhancing cross‑division and cross‑region business‑led collaborations for the specific market segment.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the segment team members and reinforcing sales efficiency and performance.
  • Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leveraging ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.
  • Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross‑division and cross‑country collaborations.
  • Activating operational intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
