• Discipline: Water Treatment Technical Manager

A valuable opportunity has arisen within an established water treatment company known for providing outstanding water treatment/hygiene and legionella services throughout the UK. The company is now seeking to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated Water Treatment Technical Sales Representative based in and around the Guildford area. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of the water treatment industry including experience working with steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems analysis. Applications will be considered from Woking, Farnborough, Horley, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience and understanding of water treatment/water industry.
• Good understanding of water treatment technologies and cooling towers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office.

Postholder Responsibilities

• Providing technical direction on the testing and treatment of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system water.
• Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the extensive portfolio of clients.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and legal requirements.
• Managing quotation process with new and existing clients in relation to all water treatment activities.
• Documentation of the water sample process, in line with guidance/legislation.
• Assist in the design and implementation of water treatment programmes for these and other systems.
• Produce documentation and track the progress of any paperwork regarding customer queries.
• Ensure that health and safety policies are implemented regarding all staff activities.
• Maintain consistent communication with on-site staff to ensure smooth running of works.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with up-to-date legislation and company practice.
