Job description

This well-established water treatment company are currently looking for an experienced Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the Ipswich area to cover a range of contracts in the north west/north wales area. Applications from Colchester, Felixstowe, Braintree, Stowmarket and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

• Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience working in a service chemist role.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
• Competent with Microsoft office package.

Role:

• Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties.
• Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Providing a range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems.
• Flushing of Calorifiers.
• Updating of Site Log Books.
• Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, chlorination on cooling towers, steam boilers etc.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients.
