• Experience as an engineer in a reputable Water Treatment or Water Hygiene company.
• Ideally hold an Electrical Engineering qualification or 17th/18th edition.
• Able to communicate efficiently and is IT literate.
• Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service water softener, chlorine dioxide units, and reverse osmosis systems.
• Conduct pre-work risk assessments on site.
• Replace reverse osmosis units as needed.
• Carry out replacement and installation of UV filtration and chemical dosing equipment.
• Perform fault-finding and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure work is compliant with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Produce detailed technical reports based on site information.

Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Central belt of Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £36k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a leading Water Treatment company that provides Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management services to Healthcare, Industrial, Domestic, and Food and Beverage sites. They are now seeking to take on an experienced and hardworking Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. You will be joining an established team of equipment engineers and will be able to confidently install, maintain and service water softener, chlorine dioxide units and reverse osmosis systems, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: East Kilbride, Hamilton, Paisley, Coatbridge, Kilmarnock, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Edinburgh.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working hands on as an engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
• Will ideally hold the Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical qualification (17th or 18th edition).

The Role

• Installation, maintenance, and servicing of water softener, chlorine dioxide units and reverse osmosis systems.
• Attending site and carrying out pre-work risk assessments.
• Installing and replacing reverse osmosis units.
• Carrying out replacement and installation of UV filtration and chemical dosing equipment.
• Attending site, carrying out fault-finding and dealing with issues in a timely manner.
• Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Using information from site to produce detailed technical reports.
