Qualifications

  • Carry out a range of plumbing works.
  • Monitor the client’s water systems for compliance.
  • Clean and chlorinate water systems and cooling towers.
  • Conduct routine sampling and analyze water systems.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.

City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing
Job description

Our client is a leading name in the water treatment/hygiene industry and due to recent expansion they now urgently need to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Stockton on Tees area. Applications from Northallerton, Barnard Castle, Durham, Guisborough and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing.
  • Previous experience in a water treatment/plumbing role in the water treatment/hygiene industry.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of plumbing works.
  • Monitor the client’s water systems to ensure compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination of both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyse water systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant health & safety procedures.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Collate and produce service reports.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
