Job description

Due to continued success and expansion, our client, a well-established name within the water treatment/hygiene industry is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Derby area. Applications from Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Leicester, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience
  • Strong chemical, technical and water treatment background.
  • Good understanding and proven track record of working to ACOP L8.
  • Experience of chemical analysis, sampling, chlorinations, chemical, pump and tank disinfections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-versed with the water industry Health & Safety legislation.
Role
  • Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
  • Carrying out installation and preventative maintenance on chemical dosing systems.
  • Checking the water quality in softeners and levels of inhibitors in boiler systems.
  • Closed system analysis of LTHW and CHW and results, temperature monitoring and TMVs.
  • Surveys, risk and method statements, monitoring and recording data.
