Job description

Our client is a well-established and highly successful water treatment company with a large presence nationwide who are looking to employ an experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Blackpool area. Applications from Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood, Preston and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working in this role within the water treatment industry.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent with Microsoft office package.
  • Must be fully conversant with current water industry guidelines.
Role
  • Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination, steam boilers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
  • Carrying out analysis of Boilers, Closed Systems and Cooling Towers.
  • Routine water inspections, sampling and temperature testing work.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, service TMV’s, showerhead descales.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
