Level of Experience: Trainee / Assistant Water Treatment Engineer though to Lead Water Treatment Engineer

Profile: Our client is a well established within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry, delivering the full range of water hygiene / treatment duties to a wide range of clients. Due to an increase in contracts, they are now looking to take on a Water Treatment engineer based in the Romford area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience withing the water hygiene / treatment industry, undertaking temperature monitoring, routine sampling, tank cleans and refurbishment, cleaning, and disinfection on cooling towers.

Applications will be considered from: Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Rainham, Hornchurch, Upminster, Dartford, Ashford, Kent, Maidstone and candidates with good access to the M25

Experience & Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will come from a good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification
• Will hold extensive experience working as a water treatment engineer
• Will ideally have experience working with closed systems
• Will have good working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Microsoft office

The Role

• Refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans
• Undertaking refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans
• Maintain professional relationship with clients
• Ensure that works are being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations
• Remedial works relating to water treatment/hygiene
