An opportunity has arisen within a distinguished water treatment company known for delivering a range of technical water treatment services to clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a tenacious and commercially‑minded Water Treatment Account Manager based in and around the Leicester area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record selling technical water treatment services to a mixed portfolio of contracts with previous experience managing steam boilers, closed systems and cooling tower accounts. Consideration will be given to applicants from Coventry, Grantham, Kettering, Derby and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications
  • Good educational, management, accounts, sales and business development background.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
  • Previous experience in a water treatment sales role essential.
  • Experience managing a varied portfolio of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of water treatment accounts, including cooling towers, steam boilers and closed system accounts.
  • Ensuring that water treatment programmes and processes used are compliant with current guidelines.
  • Securing, managing and developing key accounts – cross‑selling services while managing existing services.
  • Effective management of existing accounts.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues at all professional levels.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
  • Attending to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Producing tenders and quotations.
  • Meeting targets – achieving goals.
  • Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
  • Attending meetings as and when required.
