Responsibilities

• Carry out water sampling and temperature monitoring following guidelines.
• Perform TMV servicing, inspections, and replacements.
• Inspect and clean domestic hot and cold-water storage tanks.
• Undertake plumbing repairs when necessary.
• Alter and install hot and cold-water systems.
• Keep onsite logbooks updated and audited.

Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician.

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Salary / Benefits: £22k – £33k + Training + Benefits.

You will be carrying out general water hygiene duties such as water sampling, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing alongside undertaking plumbing and planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance works in line with company needs. Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working on a varied site base, working as a technician within a Water Hygiene/ Legionella company.
• City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or L3 in plumbing (Mandatory).
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Experience undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance work would be beneficial to the role.
• Ability to use handheld PDA systems.
• Will always be polite and professional.

Responsibilities

• Working in line with relevant HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• TMV servicing, inspections, and replacements.
• Working on domestic hot and cold-water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfection.
• Carrying out any plumbing repairs when required.
• Altering and installing of hot and cold-water systems.
• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance work.
• Using handheld PDA to collect information from site and ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date and audited.
