Job summary

A water hygiene service provider is seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join a field-based team in maintaining safe water systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in Legionella monitoring and possess a valid UK driving license. This role requires independent work while offering benefits such as a company van, annual leave, and overtime pay. You'll be responsible for temperature monitoring, cleaning, and inspections of water systems, ensuring compliance and safety in the Worcestershire area.

Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in Legionella monitoring.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets and water systems.
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers.
  • Conduct water heater inspections and other related checks.
  • Complete cold water tank inspections.
  • Perform TMV fail-safe checks and servicing.
  • Ensure timely completion of allocated work.

Skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our field-based team, delivering planned maintenance for a long-standing client across the Worcestershire area. This hands‑on role involves daily travel and plays a key part in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
  • Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
  • Complete cold water tank inspections
  • Perform TMV fail-safe checks and servicing
  • Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
  • Follow HBE and client operating procedures
  • Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in Legionella monitoring
  • Ability to work independently
