Overview

Due to continued success, we have a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company who are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their South East Team. This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience carrying out a wide range of Water Hygiene services across Commercial, Healthcare and Educational alongside carrying out remedial plumbing duties including the removal and rerouting of pipework. Due to the nature of the contracts the successful candidate will be working on long term sites with the occasional travel in line with client / company requirements.

Epsom, Orpington, Croydon, Horley, Crawley, Woking, Guildford, Bracknell, Slough, Hounslow, Windsor, Farnham, Haslemere, Horsham, Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Maidstone, Tonbridge.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing is essential to the role.
• Experience working for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company would be advantageous to the role.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Confident updating onsite logbooks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs.

The Role

• Carrying out routing sampling and monitoring of water systems.
• CWST installation, refurbishment, cleans and disinfections.
• TMV installation, servicing, repair, and replacements.
• Carrying out mains injection cleans.
• Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
• Deadleg removals.
• Removal and rerouting of pipework (Copper and PVC).
• Calorifier inspections and blowdowns.
• Expansion valve installations.
• Failsafe servicing.
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date.
• Ensuring work complies with Health & Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Liaising with clients professionally.
