Salary / Benefits: £25k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber

Profile

Our client is a well‑established name within the water hygiene industry, working across the UK for a mixed range of clients. We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber based in and around the Southampton area. The ideal candidate will hold the City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 / 3 plumbing qualification and will have extensive experience carrying out TMV servicing and repairs, temperature monitoring and water sampling.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Must hold City & Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing.
  • Extensive experience working within the water hygiene industry.
  • Well versed in Health & Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Extensive experience delivering remedial plumbing works to a mixed range of sites.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
  • Carry out cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Carry out remedial plumbing works on a mixed range of sites.
  • Repair, replace and service TMV’s and showerheads.
  • Undertake regular temperature monitoring, sampling and analysis of water.
  • Maintain and install dosing systems.
  • Undertake any required remedial works.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Ensure work is carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation and ACOP L8 guidelines.
