Our client is a well‑established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company, currently looking for an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to join their busy workforce based in and around the Nottingham area. Applications from Derby, Sheffield, Leeds and areas along the M1 Corridor and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
  • Experience working as a water hygiene engineer.
  • Plumbing experience would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Role
  • Covering various contracts including residential, commercial and industrial properties.
  • Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales and remedial work.
  • Monitoring client’s air and water systems and ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
  • Installation and maintenance of dosing systems.
  • Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
