Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor

Profile: An independent Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a national presence working on a range of Government, Facilities Management, Commercial and Industrial sites. They are now seeking to employ a hardworking and diligent Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, working on a mixed portfolio of siters, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments alongside Temperature monitoring, TMV servicing Water sampling and CWST cleans and chlorination’s.

Applications will be considered from: Hamilton, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, Paisley, Kilmarnock, Cumnock, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunfermline.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella Industry, ideally having experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and/or Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to use handheld PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role

• Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
• Cleaning and disinfection of CWST’s.
• Temperature monitoring and Water Sampling.
• Carrying out TMV servicing and Showerheads descales.
• Use of PDA / Tablet systems to produce detailed reports for clients.
• Ensuring all work carried out complies with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 Guidelines.
• Continuing to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
